Have a wonderful and relaxing time with your loved ones

... and maybe you want to bake some cookies?



  • 130 g ground hazelnuts
  • 180 g flour
  • 40 g cornstarch
  • 1 organic orange
  • 180 g soft butter
  • 110 g fine sugar + 4 tbsp
  • 1 ½  teaspoon of vanilla essence
  • ½  teaspoon salt
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon



Mix the butter, sugar, vanilla essence and salt until creamy.

Finely grate the orange peel. Squeeze the juice from the orange.

Add 1 tablespoon of orange juice and the orange zest to the butter mixture and stir.

Add flour, hazelnuts and cornstarch and knead into a smooth dough.

Shape the dough into a ball, wrap in cling film and refrigerate for 1 hour.

Preheat the oven to 150°C and line two baking trays with parchment paper.

Mix 4 tablespoons of sugar with 1 teaspoon of cinnamon.

Roll out the dough on a floured surface approx. 3 mm thick and CUT OUT COOKIES.

Dust the cookies with the sugar-cinnamon mixture and place on the baking paper.

Bake for about 10 MINUTES, and then leave to cool down on the tray.
