CHARMANT USA, a manufacturing leader of high-quality, comfortable eyewear, held its annual National Sales Meeting at the Don Cesar hotel in St. Pete, Florida, from Dec. 1-5. The meeting recognized the company’s U.S. team and honored its top sales performers.
“This five-day event was filled with excitement and enthusiasm as our salesforce and executives gathered to recognize our many achievements from both 2020-2021,” said Bill Hurst, vice president of sales for CHARMANT USA. “Since COVID-19 forced our team to gather virtually in 2020, we were also able to complete our recognition of 2020 success while gathering this year.”
CHARMANT USA named its 2020 Circle of Excellence winners during a special awards dinner and ceremony on Dec. 1. After the recognition of 2020 victories, the remainder of our sales guests arrived on Dec. 2 for the introduction ceremony. On Friday, the company’s sales leaders were also greeted virtually by honorary guest, Masakiyo Honjo, the company’s president and CEO. Honjo shared opening remarks and words of appreciation from the team’s official headquarters in Japan.
Bill Hurst, the company’s VP of sales, also welcomed St. Pete guests by outlining the 2021 event theme: “ALL IN.” This saying set the tone for 2022.
Other highlights from the event included Masato Nakagaichi, the company’s executive vice president, sharing a global update – including sales successes and emerging trends. Additionally, Dee Berghuys, CHARMANT’s vice president of operations, also shared a full analysis of the eyewear industry.
Michele Ziss, who serves as director of product development, also offered a new product review and several updates. Each sales representative viewed individual frames presented across display tables during the event’s four breakout sessions.
