CHARMANT USA Hosts “ALL IN” National Sales Meeting in Fort Lauderdale, Florida
MORRIS PLAINS, N.J. – Nov. 30th-Dec. 3rd, 2023 - CHARMANT USA, a manufacturing leader of high-quality, comfortable eyewear, held its annual National Sales Meeting at Pelican Grand Beach Resort, Fort Lauderdale, Florida, from Nov. 30th-Dec. 3rd, 2023. The meeting recognized the company’s U.S. team, honored its top sales performers, and welcomed guest speakers.
“It was a well-deserved four-day event for the executives and sales consultants to recognize our many achievements in 2023, with knowledgeable group discussions and brainstorming for what’s to come,” said Bill Hurst, Vice President of Sales for CHARMANT USA. “My goal to motivate the team, with help from our guest speaker, was a complete success. The team was reintroduced to the CHARMANT brands and left the meeting well-equipped for 2024.”
CHARMANT USA invited its 2023 Circle of Excellence winners to a special dinner on Wednesday, Nov. 29th, with top management in attendance. The remainder of the sales guests arrived on Thursday, Nov. 30th and enjoyed a welcome ceremony. On Friday, the meetings began, with opening comments from Bill Hurst, Vice President of Sales for CHARMANT USA. Michele Ziss, Director of Product Development then took a deep dive into CHARMANT USA brands- CHARMANT TITANIUM PERFECTION, Line Art CHARMANT, MINAMOTO, and ARISTAR. Then, proceeded to discuss CHARMANT USA licensed brands- ELLE, Eddie Bauer, Isaac Mizrahi New York, and ESPRIT. Following the presentation, sales consultants could view all the new products planned for 2024.
A special guest member of Optiport, Dr. Jason Lake, provided an overview presentation regarding Optiport’s Alliance Group. Detailing the services Optiport provides to help increase sales for CHARMANT USA.
A special guest and motivational speaker, Gian Paul Gonzalez, spoke for an hour and presented a Q&A for a half-hour, receiving two rounds of applause. Gian Paul spoke on the “ALL IN” motivational idea, inspiring CHARMANT’s 2024 theme “ALL IN Next Play.” Gian Paul is widely recognized for inspiring the New York Giants to their most recent Super Bowl victory with the phrase 'All In". He has been featured on ESPN as well as notable appearances on Fox News and CNN. His inspirational talks have made him an internationally renowned speaker for NBA, NFL, English Premiere League, MLS & Fortune 500 organizations.
On Friday evening, the sales consultants and executives got together for a cocktail party, followed by an annual awards dinner. President and CEO of CHARMANT USA, Mr. Masato Nakagaichi along with VP of Sales, Bill Hurst, presented the awards to the sales consultants recognizing their achievements in 2023.
On Saturday, Masato Nakagaichi, CHARMANT USA’s President and CEO, shared a global update and 2023-year review– including sales successes and emerging trends. Additionally, Dee Berghuys, CHARMANT’s Vice President of Operations, also shared a full analysis of the eyewear industry. The evening concluded with a casino night for all to enjoy and win some prizes.
Other highlights from Saturday included an overview by Mick Kunish, Director of Business Development at CHARMANT USA, discussing Alliance Groups and the benefits they bring to CHARMANT USA.
Plenty of time was allotted so that everyone could relax and enjoy being together in the Florida sunshine!
