GEO Eyewear focuses on sustainability and inclusion. Due to their timeless, minimalist unisex design, the glasses harmonize with a variety of different faces - and the environment.
To achieve this goal, the frames are made from bio-acetate. Not only is the material biodegradable, it also contains no petroleum-derived components and only plant-based plasticizers. In addition, all manufacturers of GEO Eyewear, hinges and cases are accredited for their social, environmental and economic sustainability.
Unfortunately, today even the leading producers cannot quantify the CO2 emissions that are generated during the production of a frame. Therefore, it is currently not possible for us to reliably offset the emissions. For this reason, we have decided to donate one US dollar per frame sold to a charitable organization in the country where the GEO Eyewear frames are manufactured.
But sustainability is not the only concern for GEO Eyewear. Inclusion is also an important part of the brand concept. At GEO Eyewear, we respect all people, regardless of their gender, age, appearance or origin. To make the brand accessible to everyone, the collection offers a wide range of sizes, shapes, bridges and color variations, making it suitable for a variety of face shapes and skin tones. In addition, at GEO Eyewear we do not follow short-term trends - that would contradict our sustainability concept. Rather, we offer a collection of timeless designs that will stay with consumers for a long time.
Another important aspect of inclusion for us is price. Sustainable products should be affordable for everyone without excluding certain groups of the population.
Let's take care of each other - and our planet.
